Idea: We are looking for the ability to add custom fields in a class, which can then be filled in 'per student'. And then shown in reports.
You can already make custom fields in a class, however they can only be a single value for the class - ie. a class code or similar. It can't be a different value per student, ie. 'paid', 'not paid' etc.
Example:
For our example, we want to show if a student is not simply active/archived within a class (which in reports is shown as "archived?"), but also whether they're 'withdrawn' or 'deferred' etc.
So ideally, we would create a 'custom field' in a class (called 'active status' or something) and add
dropdown options: "Active, Archived, Deferred, Withdrawn" etc.
And then we'd individually set that custom field to one of those options for each student (active by default).
This would be similar to adding 'custom fields' to a student profile (which works great), but it would a custom field inside a class itself. With the option to have individual data per student.
And again, the ability to show that custom field in reports.
