I believe I posted this here about two months ago.

If there isn't a way to merge student records, I'd like to suggest a feature request to do so. We had this capability in our old LMS and used it frequently.

We often have employees who leave the company and become employees of one of our dealer affiliates. They have different usernames, passwords and SSO sign ins and when that happens we merge their student records, so they have one student record.

We also have dealer employees who stop working for one dealer and are employed by a different dealer. We merge their records as well.

We also have employees who leave the company for extended periods of time, or retire, and then come back to work a few years later. They will have a different SSO username and password than they did when they left the company. We merge their previous student record with their new one.

Hopefully this makes sense.
