I am unable to access the outline view while actively editing module content. How can I actively edit content while maintaining visibility of the course outline? 

Below is what I see when I am navigating through a course:

However, as soon as I go to edit a course I can no longer see the outline information. I don't understand why I can't see the other modules when I'm editing. This issue is resulting in a lot of "save" navigate to outline, review info "edit" edit content "save" navigate back to module outline, review outline to reference section or write transition sentence etc. 

My request is providing an option to retain the outline view while editing content. Please let me know if you need additional information
