We manage our attributes for our users in our identity provider. Examples include department, division, hire date, birthday, etc., and all of these values come from our HRIS system into Okta. I know that we can turn on user creation with SSO, and that will create users with these attributes to start but we have to be able to keep these attributes up to date after users are created and those attributes change.... because otherwise it's all manual, and that's a *huge* amount of work with a lot of room for human error! 

This is super important for us to be able to maintain the system and ensure that we can do enrollments, goals, etc., and I would imagine it's super important for other orgs as well!
