Currently, there is no simple mechanism to configure messages/emails to be sent to subscriptions ahead of automatic renewal/payment. This is a statutory requirement in many states. For example, Fla. Stat. § 501.165 addresses automatic renewal of service contracts and mandates that a written reminder is sent 30–60 days before renewal for annual renewals. Many other states have more stringent requirements. 

Users who do e-commerce in the U.S. technically can't use your subscriptions feature and be legally compliant. I request that you add functionality to configure renewal messages at a user specified interval, date from subscription purchase, or days until renewal. This feature should allow the user to configure multiple messages.
