Add Custom Dashboard or Portal Pages
It would be nice if the platform would allow you to add custom pages that you could link to from either the dashboard or portal, that could be kept viewable to only logged in users (or a setting allowing you to choose public vs. private).
For my use case, I am looking for a couple of "pages" for these uses:
- A changelog page that where I can list and track all changes that have been made to our course. It would be nice to have one dedicated page that would serve as a record trail.
- A recordings page that lists or displays embedded recordings from our previous live classes.
I don't want these to be public, so the portal blog feature does not seem to be appropriate for this. And I want it to be a single repository for all learners across all organizations and courses, so the course or group blog feature does not seem appropriate. And I want this to be more enduring than just simply posting news or announcements.
I've attached one example of an idea where you would have these additional pages in the header from the Dashboard. Another option would be to have a custom "page" widget that could be put in the center of the dashboard.
