Being able to sort completed trainings by date completed and to show the date

Our organization requires that staff complete a set number of hours of training per training year.  Some trainings need to be repeated every year and the other hours are typically new trainings to them.

Currently, when a staff looks at their completed trainings, they are listed in alphabetical order.  This means that the training years of which they have completed are comingled.  Also, they cannot see what date they actually completed a training without getting into the training itself.  

This means that in order for our staff to see what trainings they have completed for the current training year and see if they have the appropriate hours, they need to click on each completed training, check the date, and if it is within the current training year, they need to write it down and move on to the next training.  Some staff attend 20 to 30 trainings per year so this is a very arduous task for them.  If they were able to sort by date completed and the date completed was included in the list, it they would be able to see what they had completed in the current year within seconds instead of multiple minutes.
