New features - content sharing, new mobile app, calendar invites, and more

A number of new features have rolled out to the platform, including:

  • LTI 1.3 Provider - Looking to share your content with customers on another learning platform? CYPHER is proud to be one of the few platforms to offer the ability to act as both an LTI Consumer and Provider, meaning you can add content from other platforms and share content to other platforms. We've completed work to enable LTI v1.3 as an LTI Provider, enabling new functionality and capabilities. Learn more in our documentation.
  • AICC Content Server - Similar to LTI 1.3 Provider, we've also completed work on our AICC Content Server. While an older standard, AICC HACP is used in numerous learning platforms to allow you to provide a link to other platforms and play your content hosted on the CYPHER platform. Learn more in our documentation.
  • CYPHER Learning Mobile App - Our new mobile app has launched for our customers on the business platform. Rebuilt from the ground up, the new app provides an enhanced experience that replicates the Web version of the CYPHER platform with all of your branding included. Support for our academia customers will roll out in Q3.  Download the new app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Automatic Calendar Invites - Our calendar functionality has been updated to support new calendar invites sent directly to a learner or instructor's e-mail.  When adding an event directly to the calendar or settings a schedule for a course, you'll now have the option to select "Send calendar invites via email" to send notifications compatible with all major e-mail and calendar platforms.
  • Learning Path Unenrollment & Re-Enrollment - If you allow learners to retake a learning path (whether for review, compliance, or other reasons), new options are now available on learning paths to automatically unenroll and reenroll learners in any course goals within the path. When combined with settings to allow learners to retake a course and to reset progress on unenrollment, these allow you to completely reset a learner's progress in a full learning path.
