New features added this week

1. Course create wizard
   
1. Creating new courses just got a whole lot easier! The new Course create wizard streamlines and standardizes the course creation process, guiding course creators through three options:
   
1. Create manually: Build a course from scratch using the HTML editor and Content builder.
   
2. Create with CYPHER Agent: Collaborate with CYPHER Agent to build a new course using AI.
   
3. Import package: Import existing course content from SCORM, Moodle, Common Cartridge, or Blackboard files.
   
2. After a user selects a creation method, the wizard guides them through the remaining steps for that method, resulting in a newly created course.
   
3. This greatly simplifies the process of creating courses from imported files, such as SCORM packages, allowing users to create a course and upload their files in one guided process. The platform now automatically creates the course and module and uploads the files to the SCORM section—steps that previously had to be completed individually and manually.

1. In-platform feature updates 
   
1. Administrators will now be able to discover important new features directly within the platform! Major new features and updates will be announced to administrators via pop-up after they log in to the platform. 
   
2. In-platform announcements bring key feature news directly to administrators while they are actively using CYPHER, making new functionality easier to discover. This added visibility can help administrators:
   
1. Stay informed about important product enhancements.
   
2. Discover new functionality without needing to seek out product updates.
   
3. More quickly evaluate and enable features that could benefit their users.
   
4. Get more value from CYPHER by increasing awareness and adoption of the latest capabilities.
   
3. In-platform feature announcements will be available to administrators across all CYPHER for business and CYPHER for academia platforms, excluding white-label customers for the time being.

Behind the scenes

1. Delete history on enrollment: Resolved an issue that allowed a re-enrolled user’s previous course progress to display when the Delete history of enrollment setting was enabled. Previous enrollment history is now deleted as expected when this setting is enabled.
2. Calendar invites for deactivated learners: Updated course calendar invite logic so that deactivated learners do not receive invites. If a learner is reactivated, they will receive course calendar invites as expected.
3. Mobile app - Flowpaper and MS Office embed: Updated the mobile app so that embedded documents, such as PDFs and PowerPoint files, display as expected.
