Product Updates - Week of September 7th, 2026
New features added this week
- Message template customization
- Bring your branding into your platform communications! You can now customize the template used for emails, messages, and notifications to reflect your company or school’s branding, creating a more polished and consistent experience for your users.
- By default, emails sent from the platform use a standard template that includes a Header with your site name, From and Subject fields, and a standard Footer. With the new Template tab on the Administrator > Messages page, you can customize the appearance, content, and information included in your communications.
- The Template tab gives you control over three key areas:
- Header: Create a branded header that displays at the top of emails, in-platform messages, and notifications. Use the HTML editor to customize its appearance and content.
- Message information: Customize the information displayed below the header, including the variables used in the From and Subject fields. This section appears in emails, in-platform messages, and notifications.
- Footer: Customize the text and links displayed at the bottom of emails sent from the platform to provide consistent information and branding.
- With a single customizable template, you can maintain a consistent look and feel across platform communications while creating a more cohesive experience for your users.
- Please note: The message template applies to emails, notifications, and messages across all organizations on your platform.
- To learn more, visit the new How to customize message templates article.
- Web conferencing configuration by organization: GoTo Meeting
- Administrators can now configure separate GoTo Meeting web conferencing accounts per organization. Customers with the Web conferencing for organizations app can access a new Web conferencing tab at the Organization level. This tab allows an organization to either inherit business-level web conferencing configurations or define organization-specific GoTo Meeting configurations. The new feature also allows administrators to cascade web conferencing configuration settings from a parent organization to its sub-organizations.
- To learn more about enabling the Web conferencing for organizations app on your platform, contact Sales or your Customer Success Manager.
- Additional information is available in the Web conferencing section of the Organizations article.
