Adding content to existing courses
CYPHER Agent can rapidly create new content to help you improve your existing courses.
Within existing courses, CYPHER Agent can create:
- Skills
- New modules or lessons
- Quiz assessments
- Glossaries
- Study guides
- Games
Adding skills
To add skills to a course using CYPHER Agent:
- Access an existing course or class.
- Click the CYPHER Agent floating icon.
- Click Add skills.
The Add skills popup opens.
- Name the new skills.
- Add an optional Code.
- Add a Description for the skills.
- Select a Library for the skills to be stored.
- Click Save.
The CYPHER Agent menu opens.
- Enter the Topic and the number of skills to generate.
- The minimum number of skills allowed is five and the maximum is 30.
- Click Continue.
The CYPHER Agent disclaimer screen displays.
- Read through all points about CYPHER Agent.
- Review the estimated credits needed and the current number of credits available.
- If you do not have enough credits to complete the task, a warning will appear and the Create button will be disabled.
- Click Create.
You will receive a notification when the CYPHER Agent task has completed.
- Click the link in the notification message to review the generated content.
Adding modules or lessons
To add additional modules to an existing course:
- Access the course.
- Click the CYPHER Agent floating icon.
- Click Add one or more modules.
The CYPHER Agent menu opens directly to the General tab.
- Enter the Topic for the new module.
- Select an Author persona, Level, Audience, Writing style, and Language.
- If you have additional information for CYPHER Agent about the module, enter it in the Additional instructions field.
- Determine if you want CYPHER Agent to generate customer course and module tile images.
- Select Yes to have images generated by AI.
- Select No to use images from the Web.
- Determine if you would like the module to utilize micro-learning, which is a short form of content that includes one image column and one text column per section.
- Then, click the Skills tab.
The Skills tab displays. When creating new modules for an existing course, the skills already associated with the course display.
- Select from one or more skills that are currently associated with the course to associate with the new module(s).
- Then click the Content tab.

The Content tab displays, where you can set up how content will be organized and displayed in your module:
- Select how many modules or lessons you want added to the course.
- Note: There is a maximum of 20 modules that can be added to the course.
- Determine if you would like to Crosscheck content with another AI.
- Select Yes if you would like to verify the information generated by CYPHER Agent using another AI system.
- Include Images: Select Yes to have images added to the course.
- If you select Yes, the Image source drop-down displays.
- The default image source selection is Web, which will include images from Google in the course.
- If you would like for AI to generate the course images, select Generate with AI.
- If you uploaded a custom data file, you can select Custom data to have images from your file used in the course.
- Include Videos: Select Yes to have videos added from YouTube.
- Then click the Modules tab.
The Modules tab displays.
- Select how many pages of content you would like per module.
- Note: There is a maximum of five pages per module. Three pages is the system default.
- Freeform assessment: Determine if you would like to include freeform (or essay) assessments.
- Quiz assessment: Determine if you would like to include quiz assessments in the module.
- Individual project assessment: Determine if you would like to add an optional individual project assessment.
- Group project assessment: Determine if you would like to add an optional group project assessment.
- Click Continue.
The CYPHER Agent disclaimer screen displays.
- Read through all points about CYPHER Agent.
- Review the estimated credits needed to complete the task and the current number of credits available.
- If you do not have enough credits to complete the task, a warning will appear and the Create button will be disabled.
- Click Create.
Adding a quiz assessment
To add a quiz assessment to an existing course:
- Access the course.
- Click the CYPHER Agent floating icon.
- Click Add a quiz assessment.
The Add Quiz assessment popup appears.
- Add a quiz Title.
- Add the Max score, Category, Start date and associated Module or lesson.
- Select a number of Max attempts, if you will Allow late assessments submissions, a Grading setting, a Due date, and a Grading scale.
- Type Instructions for learners or students.
- Click Save.
- Notice that the Get assistance from CYPHER Agent checkbox is selected by default.
The CYPHER Agent menu opens.
- Enter the Topic of the assessment and select the Level, Audience, and add any Additional instructions.
- Select the number of each type of question for the assessment:
- Multiple choice questions
- Fill in the blank questions
- True or false questions
- Note: The number of individual question types allowed when creating a quiz assessment ranges from a minimum of 0 to a maximum of 50.
- Select the Language to be used for the assessment. The language defaults to the language associated with the course.
- Then, expand the Skills tab.
The Skills tab displays.
- Select skills to associate with the quiz.
- Note - you must choose from the existing skills associated with the course.
- Click Continue.
The CYPHER Agent disclaimer screen displays.
- Click Create.
- You will receive a notification when the quiz assessment has been created.

Adding a glossary
To add a glossary to a course:
- Access the course.
- Click the CYPHER Agent floating icon.
- Click Add a glossary from the CYPHER Agent menu.
The CYPHER Agent Add a glossary section displays.
- Enter a Topic for the glossary.
- Select a Level, an Audience, and add any Additional instructions.
- Select the Language to be used for the glossary. The language defaults to the language associated with the course.
- Click Continue.
The CYPHER Agent disclaimer screen displays.
- Click Create.
- You will receive a notification when the glossary has been generated.
Adding a study guide
To add a study guide to the course:
- Access the course.
- Click the CYPHER Agent floating icon.
- Click Add a study guide.

The CYPHER Agent Add a study guide section opens.
- Enter the Topic for the study guide.
- Select a Level, an Audience, and add any Additional instructions.
- Select the Language to be used for the study guide. The language defaults to the language associated with the course.
- Click Continue.

The CYPHER Agent disclaimer screen displays.
- Click Create.
- You will receive a notification when the study guide has been generated.
Adding a game
To add a game to the course:
- Access the course.
- Click the CYPHER Agent floating icon.
- Click Add a game.

The Add game popup appears.
- Name the game.
- Select how learners will level up through the game.
- Click Save.

The CYPHER Agent Add a game section appears.
- Enter the Topic.
- Determine the number of Levels needed for the game.
- Select the Language to be used for the game. The language defaults to the language associated with the course.
- Click Continue.

The CYPHER Agent disclaimer screen displays.
- Click Create.
- You will receive a notification when the CYPHER Agent game has been created.
