We are currently encountering significant operational issues with course sharing in the new Cypher LMS.

Staff are encouraged to share courses with their peers, but the platform does not provide a simple or reliable way to do so. There is no “Share” or “Recommend” button that generates a universal course link. The workaround we were provided is complex and prone to errors.

A key issue is that the URL of a course copied from a user who is already enrolled does not work when shared with others. As a result, staff frequently encounter broken links or access errors when trying to recommend courses to colleagues.

This functionality is a critical gap. The ability to easily share or recommend a course is a basic feature in most Learning Management Systems, particularly for corporate environments. All of our previous LMS platforms included a built-in sharing or recommendation option, and similar functionality is standard across most modern platforms and websites.

Given how central peer recommendations are to driving course adoption and engagement, this feature is essential for us. It is surprising that it is not currently available as a standard capability and instead needs to be submitted as a future feature request.

We would appreciate clarification on:

• Whether Cypher has plans to introduce a built-in “Share” or “Recommend” feature

• The expected timeline for such functionality

Resolving this would significantly improve usability and adoption of the LMS within our company.
