Once the MS Teams app is installed, follow the steps below to configure your account:
- Navigate to https://portal.azure.com/ and login to your account.
- Click View in the Manage Microsoft Entra ID section.

Next:
- Click App registrations from the left navigation menu.

The App registrations page displays.
- Click New registration.

The Register an application page displays.
- In the Name field, enter a name for the application. This can be changed later and is only for informative purposes.
- Select the Accounts in any organizational directory (Any Microsoft Entra ID tenant - Multitenant) and personal Microsoft accounts (e.g. Skype, Xbox) radio button in the Supported account types section.
Next, you will return to the CYPHER Learning platform to gather information for the Redirect URI.
In the CYPHER Learning platform:
- Click Admin from the primary navigation menu.
- Click MS Teams from the fly-out menu.

The MS Teams page displays.
- Click Configure.
The MS Teams Settings display.
- Copy the Redirect URL.
Then, navigate back to the Azure app registration screen.
On the Register an application page:
- Select Web from the first drop-down in the Redirect URI section.
- Paste the redirect URL from CYPHER Learning in the Redirect URI field.
- Click Register.
The application is registered.
- Click API permissions from the left navigation menu.

The API permissions page displays:
- Click + Add a permission.
- Click Microsoft Graph.

On the Request API permissions slide out screen:
- Click Delegate permissions.
In the Select permissions section, search for the following permissions and enable them:
- Calendars.ReadWrite
- OnlineMeetings.ReadWrite
- OnlineMeetingArtifact.Read.All
- User.Read
The permissions appear under the Microsoft Graph heading in the Configured permissions section.

Next:
- Click Certificates & secrets from the left navigation menu.
The Certificates & secrets page displays.
- Click + New client secret.

The Add a client secret side menu appears.
- Enter a Description.
- Set an expiration for the secret in the Expires field.
- Click Add.
Note: Once the secret expires, you will have to repeat these steps and update the configuration.
A new Client secret displays.
- Click the Copy
button for the Value field.
Next, you will navigate back to the CYPHER Learning platform.

On the MS Teams Settings tab:
- Paste the Client secret Value in the Client secret field.
Then, navigate back to the Azure Certificates & secrets page.

On the Azure Certificates & secrets page:
- Click Overview from the left navigation menu.
- Copy the Application (client) ID value.
Then, navigate back to the CYPHER Learning platform.
On the MS Teams Settings tab:
- Paste the Application (client) ID value in the Client id field.
Then, navigate back to the Azure Certificates & secrets page.

On the Azure Certificates & secrets page:
- Copy the Directory (tenant) ID value.
Then, navigate back to the CYPHER Learning platform.

On the MS Teams Settings tab:
- Paste the Directory (tenant) ID value in the Client tenant id field.
- Click Save.
The MS Teams web conferencing gateway is now configured!
