This quarter, we’re rolling out a series of significant enhancements designed to improve your experience and broaden the functionality of our platform. Here’s what you can expect:
  • Custom Roles: To complement Custom Permissions, we bring you a framework designed to enhance security and functionality with advanced Custom Roles. Super Administrators will be able to create brand new roles for organizations and assign customized permission rules for each at a granular level, controlling what a user can see, change, and edit at a granular level. This feature supports the creation of roles such as "Class Observer" with tailored permissions, adapting to the unique needs of different educational environments.
  • New Two-Way Integrations: We will be introducing new two-way integrations with popular HRIS systems like BambooHR, CRMs such as Salesforce and HubSpot, and collaboration systems such as Slack which will leverage our world class API. Each integration will enable secure connectivity, automated triggers, and customizable workflows, streamlining the implementation of integrations via the CYPHER Implementations Team.
  • AI360 for Learners: Our latest generative AI focuses on the learner experience. This learner-driven capability encapsulates everything you love about our AI360 framework and puts the learner in the driver seat. The learner decides what they want to learn and when they want to learn it, going beyond just taking an existing course. AI360 for learners creates the plan, assembles the content, and aligns it to a set of skills within a matter of seconds. Even updates the leaderboard.
  • Built-in Courses: Our new framework is designed to pre-populate a CYPHER portal with pre-built courses. This capability enables content to be disseminated to new portals from a primary / parent portal. 
  • New UI: We are extending the roles that can utilize our brand  new UI. Super Administrators will have the ability to enable the new UI to Administrators, Instructors, and others.

    • Aesthetic refinement: Dive into an environment where beauty meets functionality, designed to make your educational interactions as delightful as they are effective.
    • Intuitive navigation: Your learning journey is now simpler than ever with an interface designed to reduce clicks and streamline access to essential tools and resources.
    • Enhanced usability: We've optimized every aspect of the user experience, ensuring seamless interaction with all features of the LMS, tailored for your convenience.
    • Greater accessibility: Our commitment to inclusivity has led to significant improvements in accessibility, ensuring that all users can navigate and utilize our LMS with ease.
  • Performance Improvements: Reporting: We are making several improvements to our reporting architecture that will display visible improvements in the performance of reporting.
  • API 3.0: Our OpenAPI 3.0, which uses a RESTful API and is Swagger compliant, will be available for the Academia community. Extensive improvements have been made to expand our API and improve usability for the development community. For instance, you will be able to determine which APIs can be utilized by sub-organizations, by portal.
  • Grade Book Optimization: A new grade book setting will allow you to remove non-graded assignments, therefore improving the load time and optimizing the grade book layout. Assessments will  now have two new options: "Use latest score" or "Use best score",  along with a new "Average" score option.
  • Timeout Policies: Administrators will now have the ability to set different timeout policies per organization which will allow for greater control and customization. We are also enabling timeout policies per role type, which will allow Administrators to have a different timeout duration than learners.
  • Calendar Events: We are adding the ability to add events to more than one calendar at the same time.
  • New Help Center: It’s time to transform how you access our help documentation. We are implementing a new framework that will change how you access our help documentation, along with improved searchability, rating of articles, and article suggestions.
