CYPHER Agent product news June 1st
New features added this week
- Creating a course using CYPHER Agent step by step generation
- Step by step generation with CYPHER Agent is designed for course creators who want greater involvement in the course creation process. With the latest enhancements, course creators have more control over course design than ever before.
- The updated step by step generation process allows course creators to review and edit Markdown files at every stage of course creation. This provides significantly greater control over the final course design while still leveraging AI-powered instructional design and content generation.
- To align courses with organizational and learning objectives, several new review and editing steps have been added to the process:
- Choose course Interpretation – Allows course creators to select from three course interpretation candidates or edit a candidate to better align with course objectives.
- Define Course Focus – Allows course creators to identify the course's primary focus, secondary focus, and any topics that should be excluded from the course content.
- Choose Story Arc – Allows course creators to select from three story arc candidates or edit a candidate to better support the desired learning journey.
- Write Catalog Description – Allows course creators to review and edit the short description, long description, and keywords that will be displayed in the course catalog.
- The updated CYPHER Agent step by step generation process is available on all CYPHER for business and CYPHER for academia platforms with the CYPHER Agent course creation tool enabled.

- CYPHER Agent: Course creation improvements
- Creating courses with CYPHER Agent just keeps getting better! A series of enhancement have been launched to help instructors, teachers, and course creators build more professional and user-friendly content:
- Upgraded image generation: The course tile image generator now uses a new AI model, delivering more consistent, cohesive images across courses and modules.
- More contextual course sections: Course introductions and final sections now include more context, helping create a more welcoming opening and a stronger conclusion.
- Improved course vocabulary: Course content now uses clearer, more approachable language by reducing overly formal or technical terms such as “framework” and “engine.”
- The updates are live on all CYPHER for business and CYPHER for academia platforms with CYPHER Agent enabled.

- CYPHER Agent: Learn updates
- CYPHER Agent: Learn is now more context-aware! When launched from within a course, the Learn tool gives learners a summary of their progress, current score or grade, and Mastery progress (if Mastery is enabled for the course).
- CYPHER Agent then proposes a learning session based on the requested topic and the learner’s course progress. If the learner accepts the session, they move directly into the Concepts phase, where they can review the concept map for the session.
- This update gives learners more convenience and flexibility, helping them explore new topics in real time while building on what they are currently learning.
