New features added this week

1. Direct reports for managers
   
1. The new Direct reports for managers feature introduces a new hierarchical relationship within the platform and expands the capabilities of the existing Manager role. When enabled, administrators can assign users as direct reports to managers through the user interface, the Import feature, and/or an API. Managers can easily access details about their direct reports through a new Users widget on the Home dashboard, a new Direct reports tab on the manager’s profile, and through the new Users > My direct reports option on the primary navigation menu. This feature provides managers direct visibility into their employees’ learning activity and progress to track compliance training completion, deliver more targeted coaching and feedback, and monitor learning outcomes for their teams.
   
2. Please note if you enable the ‘Direct reports for managers’ feature, managers can only access reporting data for their direct reports.

Behind the scenes

1. AI image generation: AI image generation on the platform has been upgraded to gpt-image-1.5, which provides faster image generation and superior text rendering.
   
2. Updates to the Import feature: The number of rows that can be imported has been increased. Administrators can now import up to 200,000 rows of data in a single import file for both Enrollments and Completions imports. To learn more, visit the Import article.
3. Visitor view portal sign-up: Fixed an issue that prevented users from signing-up for a new account on the visitor view portal.
   
4. Equation function in the HTML editor: Resolved an issue that caused the Equation pop-up to scroll forward when adding equations through the HTML editor.
