Product Updates - Week of October 20, 2025
New features added this week
- New Credit tracking app
- A new Credits widget is available to help learners track their earned and in-progress credit hours. Customers that track credit hours on their platforms can install the new Credit tracking app from the App center. Once the app is installed, administrators can add the Credits widget to the home page dashboard. The Credits widget will also appear on the right panel of the profile page for users who have earned or are currently earning credit hours through their courses. The new Credits widget allows learners to quickly view and monitor their credit hours, increasing visibility and motivation to reach their credit goals. To learn more, visit the new Credit tracking article.
- Persistent value mappings for Import and Export
- The new persistent Import and Export mapping values feature streamlines data management for administrators. When importing or exporting data using CSV files, administrators must manually map CSV columns to platform data values (such as Accounts, Courses, Enrollments, or Completions). Previously, these mappings had to be recreated every time an import or export was performed. Now, the platform automatically saves and reuses mapping configurations for each data type, including any “Match using” selections for Course, Learner, or Instructor import types. This enhancement saves time and reduces repetitive work for administrators who frequently handle CSV files with the same structure. For more information, visit the Import and Export articles.
