New feature spotlight: Content builder
We’re excited to introduce Content builder - a major new addition to the course editor.
The Content builder brings an exciting set of drag-and-drop widgets that let you create interactive, professional-quality course content with zero coding required.
Starting March 30, you’ll see a new toolkit on the left side of the editor whenever you create or edit a course. Adding content is simple: just drag and drop a widget onto the canvas, or click directly where you want it to go.
And don’t worry - your existing content will stay as it is unless you choose to enhance it with the new widgets.
The Content builder includes two types of widgets:
- Layout widgets: Use Grid and Columns widgets to organize your content into clean, responsive layouts.
- Content widgets: Bring your courses to life with interactive elements like Accordion, Tabs, Cards, Callouts, Quotes, and Flip Boxes — all designed to boost engagement and visual appeal.
Key Benefits
- Beat the "wall of text": Use Columns and Grids to break up long text blocks that often overwhelm learners.
- Boost attention: Use the new interactive widgets to encourage active participation and keep learners engaged.
- Support all learning styles: Mix visual, reading, and kinesthetic elements to improve knowledge retention.
Availability
Starting March 30, 2026, the new Content Builder will automatically appear whenever instructors, teachers, and course creators edit a page section within a course — making it easy to start building richer content right away.
