CYPHER Learning Product News - May 28th, 2026

New features added this week

  1. Context awareness for CYPHER Agent: Learn
    1. CYPHER Agent: Learn is now context-aware! When launched from within a course, the Learn tool asks learners whether they would like to create a session based on course content or global knowledge.
    2. If learners choose to use course content, CYPHER Agent provides a quick snapshot of their course progress along with suggested focus areas to help guide the session.
    3. The Learn tool uses course materials as the foundation for learning while also incorporating global knowledge to deepen understanding and expand on specific topics covered in the course.
    4. This update is now available on all CYPHER for business and CYPHER for academia platforms with the CYPHER Agent app installed and CYPHER Agent: Learn enabled.
    5. To learn more, visit the CYPHER Agent for learners knowledge base article.

  1. AICC content packages
    1. AICC (Aviation Industry Computer-Based Training Committee) is a legacy e-learning standard that allows training content to be shared and used across compatible LMS platforms, similar to SCORM. This new feature allows administrators and instructors to download courses as AICC content packages. The AICC content package acts as a course shell, and when uploaded to a compatible LMS, delivers course content from the server using AICC HACP.
    2. The ability to download courses as AICC content packages expands compatibility with LMS platforms that support AICC standards.
    3. AICC content packages can be downloaded from any CYPHER for business and CYPHER for academia platforms with the AICC Content Server app installed, and AICC course access enabled.
    4. To learn more, visit the AICC content server knowledge base article.

Behind the scenes

  1. SCORM endpoint exposure: Only the SCORM endpoint for the identified SCORM package (SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004) is now exposed. This improves compatibility with packages that use faulty SCORM JavaScript libraries.
  2. Content builder update: Added the ability to add rows and columns before or after existing rows and columns in the Columns and Grids widget.
