Overview

CYPHER Agent takes your learning process to the next level. Simply access CYPHER Agent, type in what you would like to learn, and let CYPHER Agent handle the rest.

CYPHER Agent utilizes AI to leverage your existing learner profile and dynamically create custom content specifically designed to help you learn new information and skills. To provide structure and context, CYPHER Agent creates a concept map to help you see the broader picture around your topic. A table of contents also provides sequential learning as well as direct access to specific topics.

CYPHER Agent remembers your learning history and suggests relevant topics to encourage your learning journey.

CYPHER Agent for learners

If CYPHER Agent is enabled on your platform, the CYPHER Agent button will appear on the bottom right of your screen.

To access CYPHER Agent for learners tools:
  1. Click the CYPHER Agent button.

CYPHER Agent: Learn

The CYPHER Agent menu displays multiple options, which vary based on your role and platform. Each CYPHER Agent for learners feature is covered in this article, beginning with the CYPHER Agent: Learn tool.
  1. Click Learn to launch CYPHER Agent: Learn.
    1. Note that your available credits display in the upper right hand corner on the CYPHER Agent menu.

The Learn pop-up displays.
  1. Type into the prompt to let CYPHER Agent know what you would like to learn. 
    1. If you have used CYPHER Agent before, your previous learning history will display. Each topic also includes the date of your previous learning.
    2. Note that suggested topics display below the text box. The more you use CYPHER Agent, the more relevant the suggested topics will be to your learning goals.
  2. Click the arrow Right arrow icon icon to start learning.


To create a meaningful lesson, CYPHER Agent asks additional questions during Session Setup. This helps CYPHER Agent tailor the learning experience to your specific needs.
  1. Type your responses in the text entry field.
  2. If you would like to skip this step, click Skip setup.

At the end of Session setup, CYPHER Agent presents an outline of the lesson. 
  1. If you would like to further modify the topic or lesson outline, type additional guidance in the text entry field.
  2. Click Looks good! if you are satisfied with the lesson outline.


CYPHER Agent generates custom learning on your topic.
  1. An introduction provides an overview of the topic and kicks off your learning journey.
  2. The Concept map breaks the topic into four primary areas of focus, with supporting sections for each area.
  3. The table of contents on the left sequentially presents each section.
    1. You can click on any topic to jump straight to the section.
  4. Click Next section to move forward through the learning sections.
  5. If you have a question about what you are learning, type your question directly into the text box and click the green arrow icon. CYPHER Agent will answer your questions directly within the current section.

CYPHER Agent also double checks the information it provides to you. AI crosscheck uses a second AI to check information for accuracy.
  1. When AI crosscheck is complete, Accuracy Verified displays in the upper right hand corner of the pop-up.

While you learn, CYPHER Agent keeps track of your interests and goals. 
  1. If you type "One of my goals is to deliver more engaging presentations", CYPHER Agent will update your profile. CYPHER Agent will store this information and use it to suggest relevant content for you in the future.
To close your current learning session:
  1. Click the X in the upper right corner of the CYPHER Agent pop-up.

CYPHER Agent: Practice

CYPHER Agent: Practice is a valuable tool that allows you to practice sales skills, leadership conversations, and much more through simulated practice scenarios. The Practice tool allows you to try out different approaches, make mistakes without consequences, and receive immediate responses and feedback on your performance. You can identify a skill to improve, and the Practice tool will create a practice scenario, guide you through the process, and provide feedback along the way.

To access the CYPHER Agent: Practice tool:
  1. Click the CYPHER Agent button.
  2. Click Practice.

  1. Type into the prompt to provide CYPHER Agent with details of the skill(s) you would like to practice.
    1. For example, you can type "Practice handling an upset customer," for a targeted role-play scenario.
    2. You can also select one of the example scenarios listed on the page and further refine it during Session setup.
  2. Click the arrow  icon to move into Session setup.


To create a more specific and helpful practice session, CYPHER Agent asks additional questions during Session setup. This helps CYPHER Agent tailor the situation and specifics to your particular practice scenario. 
  1. Type your responses in the text entry field to help the Practice tool create a more meaningful scenario.
  2. Click the arrow  icon to submit your responses.


CYPHER Agent moves to the concepts phase and generates a concept map of the core skills that will be covered during the practice session. 
  1. Review the concept map to determine if the assessment is covering the core skills most important to you.
    1. If there are additional topics you would like to include, you can continue with Session setup. 
    2. If you approve of the concept map, click Looks good. 


Next, the practice phase begins. CYPHER Agent presents the scenario and any relevant information, such as roles. In the scenario below, the Practice tool provides customer dialogue and prompts you for a response.
  1. Type your responses into the text box.
  2. Click the arrow  icon to submit your responses.
Notice that the Practice tool provides immediate feedback, called Coach Notes, on each of your responses as your progress through the conversation.



After you complete the practice scenario, you are move to the summary phase. The summary provides multiple areas of feedback, including:
  1. An overall summary, which includes your current skill level and strengths.
  2. A list of Areas to focus on next. 
  3. Session results that display your success percentage and confidence percentage.
  4. A list of suggested Next steps to help you sharpen your skills.
To close your Practice session:
  1. Click the X in the upper right corner of the CYPHER Agent pop-up.

CYPHER Agent: Assess

CYPHER Agent: Assess is a powerful way to assess your knowledge on a topic or course. You can ask the Assess tool to test your knowledge of a specific topic, skill, or course. 

To access CYPHER Agent: Assess:
  1. Click the CYPHER Agent button.
  2. Click Assess.

  1. Type into the prompt to let CYPHER Agent know what topic, skill, or course you would like to assess. 
    1. For example, you can ask, "Assess my knowledge of the course, Team Leadership and Collaboration," for an assessment focused on a specific course.
    2. You can also ask for an assessment of your general knowledge of a topic, such as "Assess my knowledge of effective presentation skills."
  2. Click the  arrow icon to begin Session setup.


To create a targeted assessment, the Assess tool asks additional questions during Session setup. This helps CYPHER Agent tailor the questions to your specific needs.
  1. Type your responses in the text entry field.
  2. Click the arrow  icon to submit your responses.


The Assess tool moves to the concepts phase and generates a concept map of the topics that will be covered by the assessment.
  1. Review the concept map to determine if the assessment is covering the topics most important to you.
    1. If there are additional topics you would like to cover, you can continue with Session setup. 
    2. If you approve of the concept map, click Looks good. 


Next, the assessment phase begins. The Assess tool will begin asking questions to assess your knowledge of the topic. 
  1. Type your answers into the text box.
    1. Note that offering complete answers helps CYPHER Agent better determine your knowledge level.
  2. Click the arrow  icon to submit your response.
As you answer each question, the related topics are highlighted on the left menu. This visual indicator helps ensure all topics are addressed and allows you to easily track which topics have been completed and which remain.



After you answer all of the assessment questions, the Assess tool moves into the summary phase. The summary phase provides you with your final results, including:
  1. Your Level, from Beginner to Advanced.
  2. Your Strength themes, highlighting the concepts you understand best.
  3. Your Main areas to improve.
  4. Your Concept success, which is a percentage of how many of the concept map topics you clearly understood.
  5. CYPHER Agent's Confidence level in your understanding of the topic.
  6.  A summary of How the assessment evolved.
  7. A list of Improvement suggestions, in priority order, to help you deepen your understanding of the topic.
To close your CYPHER Agent: Assess session:
  1. Click the X in the upper right corner of the CYPHER Agent pop-up.

CYPHER Agent History

When you have completed your Learning, Assess, or Practice sessions, you can review your learning history for a summary of the sections you covered.
  1. Click History on the CYPHER Agent menu.
    1. Your learning history displays your completion percentage for each section, as well as the date and time spent on each section.

Accessing CYPHER Agent profile information

Additional CYPHER Agent information is available on your profile page. To view your remaining credits, task summary, and history:
  1. Click your profile picture.
  2. Click CYPHER Agent from the profile navigation menu.
    1. Credits: Your purchased, used, and available credits display.
    2. Task summary: Your learning tasks and associated credits display.
    3. History: A history of your learning tasks and status.

Every interaction with CYPHER Agent for learners uses a small number of credits. The table below displays a summary of typical credit usage in the Learning tool:
