New features added this week

  1. Updated Help articles
    1. Online help has been replaced by the Knowledge base! The Knowledge base contains updated help articles that match the new UI. Articles in the knowledge base are updated as new features are launched in the platform, providing users with more up to date information. Access the new knowledge base by clicking Help on the primary navigation menu, and then selecting Knowledge base. Click your role to see a list of relevant articles, or use the search bar to quickly locate a specific topic. To learn more, visit the Help center article.
      1. Please note that platforms with the “Resell” app installed will continue to see ‘Online help’ at this time.
  2. CYPHER Agent knowledge base update
    1. The CYPHER Agent course creation process now supports syncing a file with the Agent knowledge base. When instructors and administrators upload a custom data file or select an existing resource during the CYPHER Agent course creation workflow, it is automatically synced with the Agent knowledge base.   1. Managers can now add goals for users they manage
    1. Managers can now add, pause, or remove goals for any user they manage. When adding goals for users, administrators and managers can select between both Job goals and Skill set goals. To enable managers to add goals for managed users, administrators must enable managers to ‘Enroll learners into courses and paths’. To learn more, visit the Skills development article.

  1. The ‘Log in as user’ feature is now available for sites with two factor authentication
    1. Administrators can log in as any user (other than a Super administrator) on their platform to research and troubleshoot issues. Previously, this feature was unavailable on sites with two factor authentication. Now, administrators with platforms that have two factor authentication can use the ‘log in as user’ feature.   2. New compliance tables and widgets
    1. The Learner table for compliance courses has been updated to provide the date of the learner’s last completion of the course, and the learner’s last visited date for the course. Instructors and administrators can access the updated table by accessing a compliance course and clicking the Learners tab.

    1. A new Compliance tab is now available on user profile pages for users enrolled in at least one compliance course. The table includes links to each compliance course, compliance status, the last completed date, enrollment status, the last visited date, and additional notes. To view the new tab, users click their profile picture and then the Compliance tab.
    2. A new Compliance widget is available on user profile pages. The new widget provides a summary of the user’s compliance status by course. To view the new widget, users click their profile picture. The new Compliance widget displays in the right panel.

  1. New Waitlisted tab
    1. A new Waitlisted tab is available on user profile pages. If a user is waitlisted for a course, the Waitlisted tab will appear on their profile page. Previously, waitlisted courses were listed under the 'Enrolled' tab. The new Waitlisted tab makes it easier for users and instructors to quickly locate waitlisted courses.

Behind the scenes

  1. Removed access for administrators to search all personal libraries: The ability for administrators to search all personal libraries has been disabled at this time to increase site performance.
  2. Date selector issues resolved: Resolved an issue that prevented users from selecting dates when editing multiple items. As an example, instructors or administrators can now select multiple assignments, select a new start or end date, and apply the new date to all assignments. 
  3. Edit or remove Webhook actions: Fixed an issue that prevented users from editing or removing Webhook actions when the web hook call extended beyond the boundaries of the Enrollment actions table.
