App center

Overview

The App center houses a large number of apps that administrators can install to enhance the platform.

To access the App center:
  1. Click Admin from the primary navigation menu.
  2. Click App center from the fly-out menu.

The App center is organized into categories. To locate an app:
  1. Type the full or partial name of an app into the Phrase field in the Search widget in the right panel.
  2. You can also select a category checkbox in the Search widget to filter apps by category.

Installing apps

To install an app:

  1. Locate the app in the App center.
  2. Click Install on the app tile.

Some apps need additional configuration. For these apps, the Configure icon will display on the tile after you install the app. To begin configuring an installed app:

  1. Click the Configure  icon on the app tile.

To uninstall an app:
  1. Locate the app in the App center.
  2. Click Uninstall on the app tile.

App center widget

As an administrator, you can see a quick snapshot of the App center on the Admin dashboard. The App center widget displays a chart that shows the number of installed apps and the number of available apps on your platform. To view the App center widget:
  1. Click the Admin tab on your homepage.
  2. Locate the App center widget.
