Overview
The platform allows you to upload SCORM packages as resources, which you can use directly within courses as SCORM sections and SCORM assessments.
The platform supports the following versions of SCORM:
- SCORM 1.2.
- SCORM 2004 3rd edition.
- SCORM 2004 4th edition*.
* SCORM 2004 4th edition packages can be uploaded to the platform and played. However, feature support for 4th edition is limited.
The SCORM system uses AWS CDN (content delivery network), which increases tSCORM performance because content is loaded/cached via the AWS edge network. Each site has its own CND domain, and SCORM content is loaded through https://cdn.matrixlms.com/ and https://cdn.matrixms.eu.

SCORM best practices
The following are best practices when using SCORM packages on your platform:
- When creating SCORM packages, tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate are recommended to ensure that the SCORM packages are compliant and complete.
- If you or your learners are having issues viewing SCORM packages, it may be due to your browser disabling third-party cookies. Click https://www.thewindowsclub.com/block-allow-third-party-cookies-in-ie-chrome-firefox-opera to learn how to enable third-party cookies for different browsers. If you don't enable third-party cookies, an error may occur when accessing SCORM packages, stating the system was unable to get LMS API.
- Please note if an administrator accesses other users' accounts in "stealth mode" and click on a SCORM file, the progress will be recorded. Stealth mode has limitations when it comes to preventing SCORM progress from being recorded.
