Syllabus

Overview

The Syllabus feature provides an overview of the course, as well as any associated skills or competencies, prerequisite certificates, completion certificates, and schedules. You can also include an optional, more detailed syllabus in the long description.

Enabling the Syllabus feature for a course or class

To enable the Syllabus feature for a course or class:

1. Click Admin from the course or class navigation menu.
   
2. Click Features from the fly-out menu.
   
3. Select the Syllabus checkbox.

To view the course syllabus:

1. Click the Syllabus tab on the course or class navigation menu.
   

Adding a syllabus

To edit the Syllabus or add additional details:

1. Click Syllabus from the course/class navigation menu.
   
2. Click Add in the Details section.
   

The Basics page for the course or class displays.

1. Enter or edit the optional Short description.
2. Use the HTML editor to enter additional details about the course in the Long description section.
   
1. The editor allows you to add images and media as well as text.
   
3. Click Save.
