MS immersive reader
Overview
The MS Immersive Reader offers a full-screen reading experience to increase the readability of content pages. It is designed to support learners with dyslexia and dysgraphia but can support anyone who wants to make reading on their device easier. For more information about MS Immersive Reader, click here.
Enabling MS Immersive Reader
You can install the MS Immersive Reader for your courses by visiting Admin/App Center and installing the MS Immersive Reader app.
After installing the app, go to the course where you want to use the immersive reader and visit its Admin/More area.
Click the "Enable MS Immersive Reader" option.
If enabled, all page sections and content areas, such as assessment instructions, within the course will include an "MS Immersive Reader" button.
When you click the button, you'll see the special reader version.
Immersive reader options
In the MS Immersive Reader, you can change the Text preferences, Grammar options, and Reading preferences.
To start listening, click the play button.
If you click the audio settings icon, you can change the voice speed and you can change between a female and male voice.
To go back to the content page, click on the Exit arrow.
