Overview

The home page provides a convenient view of many features in the platform.

The default view of the home page is the Dashboard. The dashboard contains three main sections:
  1. The Banner widget.
  2. The Courses widget.
  3. A section containing additional widgets based on your platform's setup.



The banner widget displays general platform guidance, announcements and news.
The banner widget may be static or a carousel of information. 


Courses widget

The Courses widget has multiple tabs that display your Enrolled, Compliance, Completed, and Deactivated courses.

By default, the widget only shows a preview of courses in each tab. You can navigate the preview by clicking the arrows in the upper-right corner.


News and Agenda

There are two additional home page views:
  1. Click News to view news feeds for course and group events, posts, blogs and more.  
  2. Click Agenda to view day by day updates of course and group events.


Configure your home page

If you don't want to see specific widgets on your home page you can hide them from your view:
  1. Click the More icon in the upper-right corner of the widget
  2. Click Hide.


All hidden widgets will appear in the Hidden widgets section of the right bar.
To add them back to the dashboard, click the Expand icon icon.



Right bar widgets

In the right bar, widgets that are a part of your platform will display. 
InfoAdministrators can edit and configure right bar widgets.

Announcements Widget

This area lists all the business, course, and group announcements for the last seven days.
Click an announcement for a pop-up with more details.


Awards widget

The Awards widget displays the awards you received for doing certain tasks.
To see more details, click the More icon and select Maximize.



Groups widget

This widget displays your groups. To add or join groups, click the More icon.
You can also use the widget to see all of your groups, and visit the groups Catalog.


Mastery widget

The mastery widget displays skills associated with your courses.
To see more details, click the More icon and select Maximize.


To do widget

This widget maintains your to-do list, which is a list of all assessments and associated courses.
If you click on an assessment, a list of assessments that are due will display. 
To add an item to your To-do widget, click + and add a description.
